Lead Bartender

The Club Room at The Clyde is seeking a Lead Bartender to oversee beverage service and the bartending team.

The Club Room is the newest addition to The Clyde Theatre – providing delicious food, cocktails, and exceptional customer service in a musically inspired and casual environment, six days a week. Providing exceptional service our passion – we strive to see that every guest has an amazing experience by providing fast, friendly, and over-the-top customer service, every time.

In this role you will:

  • Lead bar staff, providing daily direction, guidance, and training to ensure that service standards are met or exceeded by the team
  • Create beverage recipes and menus tailored to food options, for special events, and seasonally
  • Maintain inventories and oversee beverage and bar supply ordering, manage pricing and cost control

Key qualifications:

  • A friendly and approachable demeanor and a passion for guest service
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering an environment of teamwork and open communication
  • Previous bartending experience including product knowledge and familiarity with terminology relative to domestic and import beers, various types of wine, premium and brand name spirits, garnishes, and beverage presentations is required
  • Previous experience creating beverage menus and recipes, managing inventories and ordering required
  • Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
  • Energetic, flexible, and positive – leads by example and stays cool under pressure
  • Professional demeanor and communication style
  • Strong team player, collaborative, with ability to build a rapport and establish positive relationships with individuals at all levels both internally and externally
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of/compliance with best practices for responsible alcohol serving
  • Part time up to full time schedule for the right candidate. Full time positions offer a complete benefits package including medical, dental, and paid vacation days
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends – we are open lunch/dinner/late night Monday – Saturday with potential to add Sundays
  • Must be age 21+ and have or obtain alcohol permit
