Restaurant Manager - The Club Room+

The Club Room at The Clyde is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in supporting our busy (and growing!) restaurant and coffee shop! In this role, you will be part of the management team overseeing both The Club Room and Crescendo Coffee & More front-of-house operations. Working with your fellow managers, you will:

  • Ensure that daily front-of-house operations are running smoothly and provide the very best experience for each customer, striving to achieve best-in-class service
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to customer questions, issues, and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and retention and empowering staff to do the same
  • Be responsible for creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, high expectations, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction
  • Take ownership of staff training and development. You’ll create/update training programs to ensure that team members know, understand, and follow company procedures and service standards and are growing and developing to perform at the highest level
  • Be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and retention of front-of-house staff, including quality hiring and development processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment, compliance with company policies, and legal requirements
  • Participate in scheduling with other managers to complete staff schedules in an appropriate manner to meet the needs of the business. You’ll realize labor and food cost efficiencies through optimization of schedules, cross training, etc.
  • Assist in planning new and updated menus and evaluating food costs, portions, and pricing
  • Work directly with the Marketing team to drive increased volume
  • Assist with setting and meeting financial objectives for both revenue and expenses, seeking cost savings opportunities while maintaining the highest level of customer experience
  • Work closely with customers and Kitchen Manager to oversee/support the successful execution of catering and special events in The Club Room
  • Ensure that cleanliness, safety standards, and regulatory requirements are met by all team members at all times
  • Provide leadership in identifying areas of opportunity in the overall functioning of The Club Room and Crescendo, driving process improvement and implementing best practices to continually advance our customer experience
  • Preform other duties as needed


  • 3+ years food and beverage managerial/supervisory experience, preferably in an upscale restaurant/lounge concept
  • Ideally have past experience performing all the job functions you’ll be managing, including bartending, serving, food purchasing, training, and front-of-house managing
  • Bachelor’s degree in food/beverage, culinary arts, hospitality management preferred, or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • A proven track record of successfully mentoring and training staff, managing inventory and budgets, and managing labor and cost control
  • Highly attuned to customer needs, acting to address issues or concerns with a sense of urgency to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and ability to positively interact with individuals, the public, and business contacts at all levels

Line Cook+

The right person for our kitchen as a line or prep cook must have a guest-centric attitude and a passion for creating a memorable guest experience. Must be proficient at multiple stations including prep, fry, saute, and grill. The ideal candidate will have a positive and professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively on a team. This individual will possess good communication skills to interact with team members and with guests as necessary. Responsible for set up, stocking supplies, prepping food for service, maintaining strict food and sanitation standards, and inspecting all finished product to ensure proper quality and presentation. Previous full-service, high quality restaurant experience or combination of culinary education/experience is required. ServSafe license preferred. Full and part time positions are available and you will be required to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Opportunities are available in both The Clyde Theatre (fast-paced beverage service during concerts) or in The Club Room at The Clyde (bar/restaurant/entertainment venue environment). In either role, key qualifications are a friendly and approachable demeanor and a passion for guest service. Previous bartending experience, including product knowledge and familiarity with terminology relative to domestic and import beers, various types of wine, premium and brand-name spirits, garnishes, and beverage presentations, is required. Knowledge of/compliance with best practices for responsible alcohol serving is also required. The Clyde Theatre/The Club Room at The Clyde are currently hiring for our Housekeeping team! Opportunities are available to work part-time during concerts and events (primarily evenings and weekends) as well as early morning/daytime hours doing routine daily detail cleaning of our facilities.

In this role you will:

  • Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to ensure that guests at The Clyde Theatre and The Club Room experience the utmost level of cleanliness.
  • Event cleaning staff are responsible for upkeep of the facility while guests are in the house, including cleanup of spills, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies, and other general cleaning as needed.
  • Daytime cleaning team members handle the detail cleaning, including thoroughly cleaning restrooms, floors, dining and serving areas, office and lobby areas as needed within our facilities.
  • Other duties such as setup/tear-down of chairs, removing trash from parking lot, etc. may also be required
