Marketing Director +

The Clyde Theatre/The Club Room at The Clyde (A Sweetwater Company) is seeking a Marketing Director. The Clyde is one of the Midwest's newest music and entertainment destinations, offering cutting-edge sound and lighting designed in conjunction with Sweetwater, two separate music venues hosting national, regional, and local entertainment, and a brand-new on-site bar and restaurant with a fun and casual vibe.

As Marketing Director, you'll lead a team and drive strategy for marketing concerts, live entertainment, and events at The Clyde. The Marketing Director reports to the venue's Executive Director and will be responsible for overseeing and directing all marketing functions, including advertising, promotions, PR, social media, media buying for concerts and live entertainment shows, and developing events and non traditional programming in and around the venue. The Director will provide financial oversight and manage budgets and spending for the overall Marketing function as well as individual shows and events. The Marketing Director and team will be responsible for building strong relationships and effective communication with partners throughout the market. The Director will lead and develop the Marketing team – guiding, mentoring, and providing positive leadership to foster an environment of open communication and effective teamwork. The Marketing Director is responsible for developing the overall Marketing strategy and program, identifying opportunities, building and promoting The Clyde brand, and is ultimately responsible for the results of all advertising, marketing, promotion, social media, and community relations.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Music Industry, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience marketing live music/entertainment industry required

Special Events Manager +

The Clyde Theatre is seeking a Special Events Manager to oversee the booking, planning, and execution of special event functions at The Clyde and The Club Room at The Clyde. Primary responsibilities will be to actively solicit new business as well as ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction with planned special events from the first contact through the end of the event.

In this role, you will:

  • Actively solicit new and renewal business opportunities by conducting effective sales calls, outside sales calls, presentations to current and potential clients, and hosting site inspections and walk-throughs with clients
  • Seek new contacts and maintain working relationships with all civic and industry organizations, corporate promotional contacts, and event and booking representatives
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners for maximum facility usage and exposure. Represent the facility at trade shows and community events
  • Negotiate and close Special Event sales; manage event contracts including the timely issuance of contracts, estimates, event profiles, and post-event summaries
  • Work to optimize all venue spaces for Special Event opportunities and remain current with national industry trends and local market changes to best serve and market the facility
  • Responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly sales goals and annual budget goals
  • Handle all aspects of special events including preparation, planning, and execution day-of event
  • Coordinate and assist in all aspects of operational set-up and break down of events (equipment needs, rental needs, venue and station set-up)
  • Serve as liaison between client and team members throughout the event, effectively and professionally communicating with the kitchen, service, beverage, etc. to ensure timely execution of events, quality of service and adherence to all applicable federal, state and local safety & health regulations and company/venue standards


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
  • Previous sales experience preferred; basic knowledge of sales and business management practices and procedures required
  • Previous experience planning and executing large-scale special events strongly preferred
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make proper decisions under pressure; able to handle incidents and difficult situations with professionalism and tact
  • Must be passionate about customer service and dedicated to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
  • Professional communication skills with ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate in a calm and positive manner with customers, internal partners, and vendors
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail; ability to accurately compile, organize, and maintain information for event scheduling, personnel scheduling, payroll, customer billing, etc.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with strong presentation skills and public speaking ability
  • Ability to train and oversee team members assisting with an event to ensure that the highest service standards are consistently being met or exceeded
  • Ability to plan and anticipate needs for events (equipment, logistics, etc.) and proactively address all details to ensure success and prevent issues before they arise
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Working knowledge of fine dining, table settings, etc., with strong food and wine knowledge and understanding of sequence of service

Bartender +

As a bartender at The Clyde, your primary responsibility is making sure that every guest has an amazing experience by providing fast, friendly, and over-the-top customer service. Opportunities are available in both The Clyde Theatre (fast-paced beverage service during concerts) or in The Club Room at The Clyde (bar/restaurant/entertainment venue environment). In either role, key qualifications are a friendly and approachable demeanor and a passion for guest service. Previous bartending experience, including product knowledge and familiarity with terminology relative to domestic and import beers, various types of wine, premium and brand-name spirits, garnishes, and beverage presentations, is required. Knowledge of/compliance with best practices for responsible alcohol serving is also required. Positions are part-time, and you must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Must be age 21+ and have or obtain alcohol permit.

If you have a passion for service, hospitality, and making sure that your guests have a fun and memorable experience, we have an opportunity for you! We are looking for friendly faces who are enthusiastic and excited about being a part of our team. As a cocktail server at The Clyde Theatre or food & beverage server at The Club Room at The Clyde, you'll deliver excellent customer service while developing a comprehensive knowledge of our food & beverage menus. You will maintain effective communication with the kitchen and front of house staff to ensure teamwork, service efficiency, and the highest levels of guest satisfaction. You'll provide ongoing table maintenance for guests, proactively attending to their every need before they have to ask. Additional responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and complying with responsible alcohol service guidelines, using POS system and cash handling. Previous serving experience in a full-service, high-quality restaurant/lounge strongly preferred. Positions are part-time and require availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Must be 21+ and have or obtain alcohol permit.

Housekeeping +

The Clyde Theatre/The Club Room at The Clyde are currently hiring for our Housekeeping team! Opportunities are available to work part-time during concerts and events (primarily evenings and weekends) as well as early morning/daytime hours doing routine daily detail cleaning of our facilities.

In this role you will:

  • Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to ensure that guests at The Clyde Theatre and The Club Room experience the utmost level of cleanliness.
  • Event cleaning staff are responsible for upkeep of the facility while guests are in the house, including cleanup of spills, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies, and other general cleaning as needed.
  • Daytime cleaning team members handle the detail cleaning, including thoroughly cleaning restrooms, floors, dining and serving areas, office and lobby areas as needed within our facilities.
  • Other duties such as setup/tear-down of chairs, removing trash from parking lot, etc. may also be required

We are seeking:

  • Energetic, proactive individuals with a positive attitude

  • Friendly demeanor with good communication skills for interacting with the team and guests
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Host / Hostess (The Club Room) +

We are looking for friendly, smiling faces who are enthusiastic and excited about being a part of our team. As a Host or Hostess at The Club Room at The Clyde, you'll be responsible for welcoming and seating arriving guests, creating a positive first impression and attending to any special needs or requests, and thanking them as they exit. Additional duties include answering telephone calls and assisting other front of house team members with any tasks necessary to be sure that our guests receive service that exceeds their expectations. Key qualifications include a positive and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to proactively address guest needs as well as work as part of a team.
